This landmark event marks the first-ever collaboration between the National Osteoporosis Foundation of South Africa (NOFSA), the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF), and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases (ESCEO). In addition, the IOF Regional Advisory Council for Africa will be present, making this a must-attend congress for professionals across the continent and beyond.
Programme Highlights
The Congress will start with an Opening Ceremony featuring key note lectures by leading experts — Stephan Hough Memorial Lecture (T. de Villiers); Is there still a role for vitamin D in the management of musculoskeletal disorders? (R. Rizzoli); and Ethical aspects of treatment for osteoporosis in older people (S. Lipschitz).
This will be followed by a dynamic agenda and insightful discussions led by eminent local and international speakers, including N. Harvey, JY Reginster, E. Cavalier, C. Gregson, and K. Ward.
The programme will also include multiple panel discussions to encourage in-depth debate and discussion, offering valuable insights for clinical practice.
