The International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) is delighted to announce the addition of three new Associate Editors to the editorial team of the journals Osteoporosis International and Archives of Osteoporosis.
The new Associate Editors are Professor Nicholas Harvey, University of Southampton (UK); Associate Professor Thierry Chevalley, Geneva University Hospital (Switzerland); and Professor Kate A. Ward, University of Southampton (UK) - shown from left to right in the image.
They join the current team of Associate Editors which includes Professor Robert A. Adler, McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (USA); Neil Binkley, University of Wisconsin (USA); Cyrus Cooper, University of Southampton (UK); David W. Dempster, Helen Hays Hospital (USA); and Jeri Nieves, Columbia University (USA).
Osteoporosis International Co-Editor-in-Chief, Professor John Kanis, congratulated the newly appointed Associate Editors on behalf of IOF, stating:
“We are confident that their expertise and dedication will significantly contribute to the continued success of the journal and its reputation as a leading forum for high-quality clinical research in our field.”
“We also wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the retiring Associate Editors, Professor Ego Seeman and Professor Claus Glüer, for their exceptional dedication since 2006. Their significant contributions have played a vital role in supporting the journals’ development and increasing impact throughout the years.”
Osteoporosis International is a joint publication of IOF and the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF). As one of the most influential peer-reviewed scientific journals in the bone field, Osteoporosis International publishes a wide range of high-quality clinical research in the bone and musculoskeletal field. It is a leading forum for the communication of new research and guidance, and for the exchange of current ideas concerning the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and management of osteoporosis and related metabolic bone diseases. Its sister journal, Archives of Osteoporosis, is a publication of choice to highlight national or regional guidelines, present specificities of different regions around the world concerning epidemiology, reference values for bone density and bone metabolism, as well as clinical aspects of osteoporosis and other bone diseases.
